When I was a little girl, I always used to wonder

Does my mother have a secret magic wand?

How else she does everything with so much ease

And be comforting to us like a fresh breeze

When I became a mother, I inherited her superpowers

I could suddenly manage more and work for long hours

Ma for me means tolerance and grace personified

She is someone whom I truly idolize

Ma for my kids is a gift of God
